How to Create a Hyperledger Fabric
Luniverse v2.0 supports Hyperledger Fabric chain. Luniverse clients can now create their own independent Hyperledger Fabric to deploy chain code and develop and service DApp.
Prior to a detailed instruction, refer to the below introduction of the services provided Hyperledger Fabric and Luniverse.
Hyperledger Fabric is one of the Hyperledger projects established by the Linux Foundation. It is a Permissioned Blockchain, which means that only permissioned users can participate in. Unike Bitcoin or Ethereum โ€“ public blockchain where any user in the world can access and view data, Hyperledger Fabric without restrictions โ€“ Hyperledger Fabric only give permissioned users permission to participate and view the data. Thus, Hyperledger Fabric is mainly used by financial institutions, companies, and organizations that are sensitive to security when they want to build their own blockchain.

Luniverse supports users to create separate Hyperledger Fabric blockchains. Any user or organization wishing to create a Hyperledger Fabric blockchain can create a Hyperledger Fabric network from the Luniverse console. Currently, you can purchase Hyperledger Fabric on Luniverse in two rates.
  • There is a limit on the number of chain codes that can be deployed, and data processing may be slow because it shares networks with other users. Also, since it shares data on one channel, it does not guarantee data confidentiality.
  • โ— Currently, you are not able to use the function to dynamically add organizations or peer nodes once the network is created, but we plan to add the function in the future.
  • The paid products of Luniverse Hyperledger Fabric support Hyperledger Fabric (version 2.2).
